I call my yellow cruiser the ""Banana Bike"" and it brings me so much joy! I absolutely adore bright colors and being outside, so cruising around in the sunshine in Mid-City Baton Rouge is a fun way for me to spread the love and enjoy my neighborhood.
People always smile when I ride by and I think it's because of how bright my bike is- they say yellow is a happy color! I also grew up riding bikes as a kid, so I associate hopping on to go for a ride as a nostalgic ode to my childhood.
I can thank quarantine for getting me back into riding my bike more often. I quickly snapped this shot in front of a popular neighborhood spot called ""Bee Nice Music."" I thought my bike paired with the lyrics painted on the trailer would make for a great message especially after the year we all just had!
